About this document

Fe2o3 1 by h93759196 is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study examines the effects of adding iron oxide (Fe₂O₃) nanoparticles to diesel fuel on engine performance and emissions. Results indicate that the addition of nanoparticles improved brake thermal efficiency by 17.6% and reduced brake specific fuel consumption by 22.8%, while emissions of CO₂, NOx, and HC were decreased significantly. The findings suggest that using 75 mg/L of Fe₂O₃ nanoparticles at 2000 rpm outperformed pure diesel fuel in terms of performance and emissions.
