This study evaluates the safety and efficacy of isobaric ropivacaine for spinal anesthesia in cardiac patients undergoing lower limb surgeries. Results indicate that ropivacaine provides stable hemodynamics, rapid onset of sensory and motor blocks, and prolonged postoperative analgesia with minimal adverse events compared to bupivacaine or general anesthesia. The findings suggest that isobaric ropivacaine is a preferable anesthetic option for this high-risk population.
