This study investigates the impact of dust accumulation on the performance of photovoltaic panels in El-Oued, Algeria, comparing a clean panel to a dust-covered one. Results indicate that dust significantly reduces energy output, with the clean panel generating 34.65% more energy than the dirty panel on both test days. The findings emphasize the necessity of regular maintenance to optimize photovoltaic efficiency in desert environments.
