This study assesses the severity of anemia among pregnant women in Dubai, UAE, involving 833 participants. Results indicate that 71.43% had normal hemoglobin levels, while 16.09% experienced mild anemia, 12.36% moderate anemia, and only 0.12% severe anemia. The findings highlight the need for better monitoring of anemia during pregnancy, suggesting that a community-based study could provide a more comprehensive understanding of the issue.
