What is Demotivating Factors in EFL Learning about?
This study analyzes demotivating factors in learning English as a foreign language for students at a rural high school in South Bone, Indonesia. The author conducted a qualitative study using questionnaires with 15 randomly selected students. The study found that the most significant demotivating factors were peer preferences for English, the difficulty of English, responses from friends, and feelings of shyness.
