What is Flow Rate and Head Loss Data about?

The document contains graphs that compare the head loss (Δh) for different flow rates (Q) in single pipes, pipes in series, and pipes in parallel. For single pipes, as the flow rate increases the head loss also increases in a linear fashion. For pipes in series, the head loss is the sum of the head losses of the individual pipes. For pipes in parallel, the total flow is divided among the pipes and the head loss is less than for a single pipe with the same total flow.
