Duke Ai of Qin ruled the Qin state from 536 to 501 BC, succeeding his father Duke Jing. He is known for his marriage alliance with the State of Chu and for aiding Chu against the State of Wu, which led to a series of victories. Duke Ai died in 501 BC and was succeeded by his grandson, Duke Hui I of Qin.
