What is Worship Service for Martin Luther King Jr. about?

This sermon discusses three Bible passages about being called by God. The Gospel lesson describes John the Baptist identifying Jesus as the Messiah and two disciples following Jesus after being called. The Hebrew scriptures tell of God calling Samuel three times before Samuel recognizes it is God calling. The sermon reflection asks what and how we are called by God. It ends with announcements of community events and a call to ongoing prayers for those in need.
