About this document

Anatomy of the Urinary Tract by Rizky Indah Soraya is a document available to read on EtoBox.

The urinary system consists of the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra. The kidneys filter waste from the blood to produce urine, which travels through the ureters into the bladder. The bladder stores urine until urination, when it is emptied through the urethra. In males, the urethra is longer and passes through the prostate gland and penis, while in females it is shorter and passes through the urogenital diaphragm and vagina.
