Can I read A Study of Ion Sensitivity to Sodium and Cobalt for Calixarene Based Sensors on EtoBox?

A Study of Ion Sensitivity to Sodium and Cobalt for Calixarene Based Sensors by A. Bouazizi; H. Maaref; N. Jaffrezic-Renault; R.Ben Chaabane; M. Gammoudi; G. Guillaud is a Engineering article available to read on EtoBox.

What is A Study of Ion Sensitivity to Sodium and Cobalt for Calixarene Based Sensors about?

Thin calix [n]arene (n = 4 and 8) films are directly deposited using a thermal evaporating method on th.~', sili,~a ir~sulator of EOS structures which are tested by an AC capacitance method. A selective response of 59.2 and 3.8 mV respectively ~\*e~ decade is oh:served for sodium and cobalt using calix[4]arene. For the detection of cobalt ions, the response was significantly improved up to 22.2 mVIpCO using calix [8] arene. The response of the structures remains the same after 3 months storage in water.
