This study analyzed the genetic structure and polymorphism of isozyme markers in Iranian rice landraces. 120 rice accessions from the National Plant Gene Bank of Iran were analyzed for allelic frequencies and polymorphism at various isozyme loci. The most polymorphic loci were Amp3, Pgi2, Est2, Amp1 and Amp2, with polymorphism levels of 60%, 55.3%, 54.8%, 51% and 48% respectively. Three loci were monomorphic.
