About this document

UV Method for Cu(II) Detection in Water by Flora Panda is a document available to read on EtoBox.

A novel UV spectrophotometric method was developed for determining Cu(II) in synthetic mixtures and water samples, based on the complex formation with cefixime. The method demonstrated a linear response within the concentration range of 1.015-8.122 mg mL-1, with a maximum absorption at 336 nm and minimal interference from other metal ions. This technique was successfully applied to analyze Cu(II) in both synthetic mixtures and natural water samples, showcasing its effectiveness and reliability.
