What is Shock Case Study: Mr. P about?

Mr. P is a 63-year-old man with a history of hypertension, coronary artery disease, and DVT who presented with abdominal pain. CT scan showed a hematoma around his left kidney and fluid in his abdomen. His blood pressure dropped to 70/30 mmHg and he developed lightheadedness, decreased urine output, and declining lab values. He was determined to be in hemorrhagic shock due to an intra-abdominal bleed likely from anticoagulation toxicity from taking enoxaparin and warfarin together without monitoring.
