The document details a study that isolated and characterized 4 chemical constituents from the unripe fruits of Ficus nota: (1) 4-(2-hydroxyethyl)-2-methoxyphenol, (2) a mixture of meso-2,3-butanediol, (2R,3R)-2,3-butanediol, and (2S,3S)-2,3-butanediol, and (3) β-sitosterol. The structures of the compounds were determined using NMR spectroscopy. This is the first report of isolating these constituents from F. nota.
