About this document
Gear-Type Hydraulic Motor Overview by Vijay Rampal is a document available to read on EtoBox.
Hydraulic motors convert hydraulic energy from a pump into mechanical energy or motion. There are three main types of hydraulic motors: gear motors, vane motors, and piston motors. Gear motors have gears that rotate when fluid flows around them. Vane motors use vanes that are pushed by fluid pressure to rotate a rotor and output shaft. Piston motors use pistons in cylinders that are pushed by fluid pressure against a swash plate or flange to rotate a shaft. Hydraulic motors allow hydraulic systems to transf
