Next plc is reminding suppliers to assign Tier 1 manufacturing sites and Tier 2 processing sites to contracts to ensure compliance with their Supplier Compliance system. Failure to do so may result in fines, including a 10% penalty of the contract value or a minimum fine of £10k for unauthorized subcontracting. Suppliers must also declare all Tier 2 labels, packaging, and branded components, and submit New Site Requests for any non-nominated suppliers.
