About this document
Radiographic Corrosion Evaluation Study by Mostafa Kabir is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This document summarizes the results of an IAEA coordinated research project on evaluating corrosion and deposits in pipes using radiography. The initial project focused on small diameter pipes under 6 inches and found that radiography could reliably detect and measure corrosion. A new project was launched to extend this work to larger pipes from 6 to 20 inches in diameter, with the goal of defining detection limits for different radiation sources using tangential radiography and exploring other techniques.
