What is JCDD 12 00425 v2 about?

This study evaluates the correlation between coronary calcium score (CCS) and coronary artery disease (CAD) in 405 patients who underwent coronary CT angiography. A strong positive correlation was found (r = 0.835, p < 0.001), with an optimal CCS cutoff of 112 for discriminating CAD severity, yielding 90% sensitivity and 81% specificity. The findings support the use of CCS as a predictive tool for assessing CAD severity and guiding clinical management.
