This study aimed to determine the preparedness of Senior High School graduates from the Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM) strand compared to the Non-ABM strand in their performance in basic accounting subjects in college. A sample of 116 first year college students majoring in Accountancy were examined, with 95 from ABM and 21 from Non-ABM.
