Can I read Electrogyration Effect in the Paraelectric Phase of Ferroelectric Alums on EtoBox?

Electrogyration Effect in the Paraelectric Phase of Ferroelectric Alums by Hans-J. Weber is a Chemistry article available to read on EtoBox.

What is Electrogyration Effect in the Paraelectric Phase of Ferroelectric Alums about?

The electrogyration effect of four methylammonium alums and of ammonium iron alum in their paraelectric phase has been measured. In all methylammonium alums the electrogyration constant λ123 obeys the Curie-Weiss-law j,23 = ί'ΐ23 (T-To) 1 + s 'i23 with only small sí'23-values compared with si23-In contrast to the strong increase in these crystals, s123 diminishes in ammonium iron alum when the transition temperature is approached. Within the framework of the phenomenological theory of improper ferroelectrics in both kinds of compounds, the electrogyration effect can be described by a sum of two terms, one depending on polarization Ρ and the other on an intrinsic order parameter Θ, different from P. From dispersion behavior in methylammonium iron alum a less important influence of the trivalent cation on phase transition is concluded.
