What is Tibial Condyle Morphometry Study about?

This study examined the dimensions of the medial and lateral tibial condyles in 150 tibias from North Indian subjects. The mean area covered by the medial tibial condyle was 38.56% on the right side and 37.32% on the left side. The mean area covered by the lateral tibial condyle was 35.97% on the right side and 35.65% on the left side. The dimensions measured in this study can help with the design of tibial components for unicompartmental and total knee arthroplasty procedures.
