This research article evaluates six different sparse array geometries to enhance Direction of Arrival (DOA) estimation performance while accounting for mutual coupling effects. The study employs numerical simulations using dipole antennas and the MUSIC algorithm to analyze the performance of these geometries under varying conditions. Results indicate that the HFCA and UACA configurations achieve significant accuracy improvements in DOA estimation, with RMSE values below 2 degrees in various scenarios.
