BM&FBOVESPA, a Brazilian stock exchange, announced that after reviewing the tax assessment notice questioning the amortization of goodwill from an acquisition in 2008 and 2010-2011 with legal counsel, it considers the chance of loss from the tax procedure to be unlikely. BM&FBOVESPA reiterates that the goodwill was properly recorded under tax laws and it will continue working with legal counsel to appeal the assessment notice.
