What is CPRA: Code of Professional Responsibility about?
Section 1 of Canon I establishes that a lawyer must maintain independence in discharging professional duties without improper influence. Section 2 prohibits a lawyer from being influenced by dishonest or immoral considerations, external influences, or pressure when advocating for a client. Section 3 adds that a lawyer shall use only dignified, gender-fair, child- and culturally-sensitive language in all dealings and shall not use abusive, offensive, or improper language.
