This document presents a new method for predicting rice crop growth phases using vegetation index data from Sentinel 2A satellite images. The study area was in West Java, Indonesia from June to August 2017. An algorithm was developed using polynomial regression models to identify relationships between crop growth phases and NDVI values. The accuracy of the developed model was 70-75% based on validation in the same area in 2019.
