What is Aluminium Silicate Blastcleaning Grit about?
Eurogrit is an aluminium silicate blastcleaning grit made from coal slag from coal-fired power stations. It is used to blastclean steel and stone/concrete surfaces to remove mill scale, rust, old paint, and dirt. Eurogrit comes in various grain sizes and is packaged in paper bags or woven polypropylene bags for blasting applications ranging from SA-3 to SA-1. It has properties such as hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale and specific density between 2.4-2.6 kg/dm3.
