Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is a prevalent malignancy, constituting over 90% of oral cancers, with pain being the most common symptom. The disease often presents asymptomatically in early stages, but advanced stages show ulcers and lumps, primarily affecting the tongue and floor of the mouth. Early diagnosis is crucial, as the overall 5-year survival rate remains low, and differential diagnosis is necessary to distinguish OSCC from other rapid-growing oral malignancies.
