About this document

How Induction Stoves Generate Heat by Sameer Reodikar is a document available to read on EtoBox.

An induction stove works by using a high frequency magnetic field produced by a coil to induce eddy currents in a ferromagnetic vessel, concentrating heat near the surface. The heating effect stops as soon as the vessel is removed from the coil, and materials like aluminum and copper cannot be used as the magnetic field penetrates too far without resistance.
