What is Multi-Modal Sales Forecasting Model about?

This paper presents a novel multi-modality conditional diffusion model (CDSV) for forecasting live sales volume in e-commerce, addressing the challenges posed by the scarcity of high-quality data. By transforming historical live broadcasts into image and text data and utilizing diffusion models, the proposed framework enhances prediction accuracy and robustness. Extensive experiments demonstrate that CDSV outperforms existing state-of-the-art models in generating realistic sales volume predictions.
