What is BIM Scope Management in Construction Projects about?

This research investigates the current scope management practices in BIM-enabled construction projects, highlighting the need for improvement to minimize reworks and enhance productivity. Interviews with 18 experienced professionals revealed that unclear roles and responsibilities, as well as a disconnection between project information models, contribute to inefficiencies. The findings aim to provide insights for refining scope management processes in alignment with the international BIM standard ISO 19650.
