1) The study examines the effects of AGN194204, a novel and highly selective RXR-retinoid, on suppressing the proliferation of human pancreatic cancer cells. 2) Results showed that AGN194204 inhibited proliferation in two pancreatic cancer cell lines (MIA PaCa-2 and BxPC-3) at concentrations above 10 nM, but not in the AsPC-1 cell line.
