Process Parameters in Incremental Sheet Forming by Nigus Teklehaymanot is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study investigates the effects of process parameters on thickness thinning and mechanical properties in incremental sheet forming (ISF). Experiments were conducted to form pyramid shapes using different step sizes, sheet thicknesses, and tool diameters. Response surface methodology was used to analyze the effects and develop models to predict maximum thinning rate. The results showed that larger step sizes and tool diameters produced lower maximum thinning rates. Hardness, yield strength, and tensile s
