Percentiles are values that divide a set of data into 100 equal groups. The 20th percentile (P20) separates the lowest 20% of values from the highest 80%. Percentiles can be calculated by arranging data in ascending order, finding the position of the desired percentile using a formula, and interpolating if needed. Examples show finding the 20th and 30th percentiles of various data sets.
