This study aimed to determine the relationship between family socioeconomic factors and nutritional status of children under five in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. A cross-sectional study of 39 poor households was conducted. The results found that living in an extended family significantly increased the risk of underweight in children under five.
