What is Friendly Letter Writing Rubric about?

This document provides a rubric for assessing friendly letters. It evaluates letters across 5 categories: ideas, creativity, format, sentences/paragraphs, and grammar/spelling. Each category is scored on a scale from 1 to 4, with 4 being the highest score. The rubric describes the characteristics or qualities that would earn each score in each category. For example, for ideas a score of 4 means all ideas were clearly expressed, while a 1 means the letter seemed unrelated and unclear.
