As New York City faces a leadership transition during a period of profound public health and economic stresses, a new survey by the Center for Urban Research at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York finds that city residents are happier with their neighborhoods than they are with the city as a whole and worry that neighborhood conditions are declining. The 2021 Public Service Satisfaction Survey was in the field between October 19 and November 2, 2021.
