About this document
Shark Attacks, Lyme Disease, and Fossils by Fernando Pajares is a document available to read on EtoBox.
Lyme disease is caused by a bacterium transmitted through deer tick bites. The number of ticks acquiring the bacterium could decline if the population of species that do not harbor the bacterium, and which the tick larvae feed on, were increased. Then fewer of the larvae would feed on infected white-footed mice hosts.
