What is Music Therapy about?

This study investigates the effects of music therapy on the overall health of elderly patients receiving home health care, involving 20 participants divided into control and intervention groups. After 12 weeks of weekly music therapy sessions, the intervention group showed significant improvements in 11 health subscales, compared to only two in the control group. The findings suggest that music therapy can enhance the well-being of elderly patients in home care settings.
