This document describes the BM-D 446 high performance compression driver from P Audio. The driver presents improvements in both amplitude and time domain response over previous models. The magnet gap geometry and phase plug spacing were redesigned to improve the vocal range response between 1-3kHz for better intelligibility. Additional improvements above 10kHz provide more accurate ultra high frequencies. The driver is suitable for use in high output two way systems with 8 inch or larger woofers.
