What is Enamel Erosion from Fresh Juices Study about?

This study investigated the erosive effects of different freshly squeezed fruit juices on human enamel through determining calcium and phosphate dissolution. Four juices were tested: orange juice, apple juice, and mixtures of orange/carrot juice and apple/carrot juice. Apple juice caused the most erosion due to its low pH and high buffering capacity. Erosion increased over time from 3 to 12 minutes of exposure. All juices caused enamel demineralization, with erosion correlated to pH and exposure time. Absor
