The study assessed the seroprevalence of HIV, HBV, HCV, and syphilis among 27,407 blood donors at a tertiary hospital in Vadodara over three years. The overall seroprevalence of these infections was found to be 1.67%, with significant differences between voluntary and replacement donors. An increasing trend in seroprevalence of HIV and HBsAg was observed, highlighting the need for improved blood safety measures.
