The study investigates the retrieval of chlorophyll a (Chl a) and total suspended matter (TSM) concentrations in the Gorky Reservoir using Sentinel-2 imagery and in situ measurements. An original approach involving simultaneous measurements from a radiometer and ultraviolet fluorescence LiDAR was developed, resulting in high-resolution data collection. The proposed algorithms can facilitate regular environmental monitoring and are adaptable for other reservoirs in the Volga River region.
