Nick Vujicic was born in Melbourne, Australia with no arms and legs. Despite his disability, Nick plays football and golf, swims and surfs using just his small foot on his left leg to balance. Nick calls his small foot his "chicken drumstick" and uses it to type, write, and pick things up. His parents decided against sending him to a special school. As a child, Nick was deeply depressed and tried to drown himself, but at age 13 he found inspiration from a newspaper article about a disabled man.
