What is ODMRP: Multicast Routing in Mobile Networks about?

ODMRP (On-Demand Multicast Routing Protocol) addresses challenges in ad hoc networks, such as bandwidth constraints and frequent topology changes, by utilizing a mesh-based approach for multicast routing. It employs a Forwarding Group concept to enhance connectivity and reliability, while also incorporating mobility prediction to optimize route refresh intervals. Simulation results indicate that ODMRP performs well under various conditions, though it faces issues with excessive flooding in scenarios with ma
