After The Eels Are Caught, Gran Skins Them, The Eels Are Sold To The Smokery, And Firebird Makes Beautiful Purses From The Skins, Which Gran Supposedly Locks In A Closet Wrapped In Tissue Paper. The Whole Structure Of Their Closed System At The Edge Of Civilization Falls Apart When Ford Catches His Father Dumping The Eels, Sans Skins, Back Into The Swamp, And Firebird Discovers Her Purses Are Missing From The Locked Cabinet In Gran's Bedroom.
