This study assessed outcomes of locking plate osteosynthesis for complicated and/or geriatric olecranon fractures. 16 patients were treated with this technique, with a median age of 50 years. At final follow-up, median Mayo elbow scores were 95 and pain scores were 1, with a median range of motion of 125 degrees. No hardware failures occurred and all fractures healed without complication.
