About this document
Natural Clays and PAC in Wastewater Treatment by Nico Rubini is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This document discusses using natural clays and poly aluminum chloride (PAC) for wastewater treatment. Jar tests were conducted to evaluate the efficiency of two types of clays (Shendi and Singa), PAC, and their combinations in removing turbidity, COD, and color from wastewater. PAC on its own achieved 96.2% turbidity removal, 70.7% COD removal, and 82.1% color removal. The clays alone achieved lower removal rates, while their combinations with PAC provided removal rates between their individual performance
