About this document
Development of A Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification Method For Rapid Detection of Pigeon Circovirus by tanmay is a document available to read on EtoBox.
The study presents a novel loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) method for the rapid detection of pigeon circovirus (PiCV), demonstrating high sensitivity and specificity compared to conventional PCR. The LAMP assay can detect as little as 0.5 pg of PiCV DNA, making it ten times more sensitive than PCR, and shows no cross-reaction with other pathogens. This method provides a valuable tool for the timely diagnosis and control of diseases caused by PiCV in pigeons.
