Todd Meyer is building a lightweight, insulated micro camper that fits in his garage using a foam-based construction method. He began the project by finding an old camper frame for $200 that he spent several hours reconditioning, including sanding, priming and painting the frame, wheels, and other metal parts. For the floor, he built a 2x3 wood frame structure with 3/4" plywood decking, priming and painting the underside before installation.
