About this document
Aging as an Old Never-Married Single by mdposana is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study explores the experiences of older never-married singles aged 60 and above, focusing on their perceptions of singlehood and childlessness. Through qualitative interviews with 16 participants, four major themes emerged: reasons for remaining single, feelings of loneliness versus solitude, self-care in old age, and the impact of societal prejudices. The findings highlight the need for greater understanding and acceptance of this growing demographic within the context of aging and societal norms.
